Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this bed if you need to fit two full-size sleepers and a workspace into a single room. It suits parents of older children or teens who require a dedicated area for homework and device charging. The ample storage options, including four drawers and under-bed clearance, make it ideal for apartments or dorms where floor space is limited. The convertible design also benefits households that may need flexible sleeping arrangements later.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you prefer a twin-over-full configuration, as this model is strictly full-over-full. It may not fit in rooms with low ceilings, given its 75.3-inch height. If you dislike the look of black metal or rustic accents, note that white is an available variation. Additionally, if you want a simpler, non-electronic setup, the integrated RGB lighting and charging station might add unnecessary complexity and cost to your purchase.
Verdict: This bunk bed offers a comprehensive solution for maximizing room utility through integrated storage and study features. It is best suited for those who need two full-size beds and a workspace in a single footprint.
Key specs explained
Size: Full Over Full
This configuration provides two full-size sleeping surfaces, one above the other. You get ample width for teenagers or adults on both levels, unlike twin-over-twin setups. This makes the bed suitable for older children sharing a room or for guest accommodations where space is tight. It offers a practical upgrade from smaller twin sizes without requiring a significantly larger floor footprint.
Width: 78.2 inches
The unit spans nearly 6.5 feet across, which is wider than standard twin bunk beds. This width accommodates the full-size mattresses and the integrated desk structure on the side. You need to ensure your room has enough clearance around the bed for safe movement and ladder access. This dimension is critical for planning room layouts and ensuring the bed fits through doorways during assembly.
Height: 75.3 inches
Standing over six feet tall, this bed requires sufficient ceiling height to be safe and comfortable. You must check that the top bunk has at least 30 to 35 inches of clearance above the mattress for the sleeper to sit up safely. This height also allows for the built-in desk and storage components underneath. Verify your room dimensions before purchase to avoid ceiling contact or safety hazards.
Weight: 146 pounds
This substantial weight indicates a heavy-duty steel frame designed for stability and durability. You can expect the bed to resist wobbling during use, providing a secure sleeping environment. The weight also suggests that assembly may require two people to maneuver the parts safely. It is not a lightweight, portable unit, but rather a permanent fixture built to support the full-size mattresses and daily activity.
Design and build details
The Mojiasion unit is a Full Over Full configuration measuring 78.2 inches wide, 80.7 inches long, and 75.3 inches high. It weighs 146 pounds. The frame is constructed from steel, providing a sturdy base for the upper bunk. The finish is listed as Black and Rustic. This color combination helps hide minor scuffs and keeps the look grounded in a busy room. The substantial weight suggests it will not shift easily once placed against a wall.
Layout-wise, the bed integrates a built-in desk beneath the top bunk. The desk surface is 13.4 inches deep, offering enough room for a laptop or homework supplies. Four storage drawers sit below the desk for books and accessories. A metal pegboard with six hooks hangs above the desk for hanging items like hats or headphones. The headboard includes a 5.7-inch deep shelf for lamps or small decor. Underneath the bottom bunk, there is 9.45 inches of clearance, allowing for storage bins or toy boxes.
According to the listing, the bed includes smart RGB mood lights. You can control these via an app or buttons, choosing from over 60,000 colors and 29 modes. This feature lets you adjust the room’s ambiance for study or sleep. The design also includes a full-length 13-inch safety guardrail on the top bunk. The ladder has softly covered steps for safer climbing. The unit arrives in two separate boxes for shipping safety.
Setup and Daily Use Guide
Assembly requires patience because the bed ships in two separate boxes. These packages may arrive on different days, so you must wait for all components before starting. The manufacturer includes all necessary hardware and clear instructions to streamline the process. If you encounter questions during the build, dedicated support is available to assist you.
Once assembled, the unit functions as a complete living zone. The built-in desk offers a 13.4-inch deep surface for homework or laptops. An integrated charging hub with two AC outlets and two USB ports sits directly on the desk, allowing you to power devices without hunting for wall sockets. Above the desk, a metal pegboard with six hooks holds hats, headphones, or decorations. The 5.7-inch deep headboard shelf provides space for a lamp or books.
Daily use involves managing storage and lighting. Four drawers keep books and art supplies organized. The 9.45 inches of clearance under the desk accommodates bins or shoes. Lighting is controlled via an app or button, offering over 60,000 colors and 29 modes. You can set music sync for parties or a soft glow for bedtime. Safety features include a 13-inch high guardrail and anti-tip anchors. The wide ladder has softly covered steps for secure climbing. This setup keeps your room tidy and functional.
Before You Buy This Bunk Bed
This unit combines sleep, study, and storage in one large footprint. You must verify your room dimensions carefully. The bed measures 78.2 inches wide and 75.3 inches high. Ensure you have sufficient clearance for the ladder and door swings. You will need to locate a nearby electrical outlet for the integrated charging station. The desk requires power for the USB ports and AC outlets. Consider your lighting needs, as the RGB LEDs provide ambient glow but not task lighting for reading. You may want to purchase separate bed linens for both full-sized mattresses. The steel frame is durable, but you should clean it regularly to prevent dust buildup in the drawers. This model suits families needing multi-functional furniture. It differs from simpler loft beds by adding a desk and extensive storage. Check that your floor is level to ensure the anti-tip anchors function correctly. Assembly is straightforward but requires patience due to the two-box shipping method.
Check before you buy
- Measure your room for width and height clearance.
- Ensure an electrical outlet is near the desk area.
