Who it fits

Key specs explained for this crib

Convertible Configurations: 5-in-1

This crib transitions from a baby crib to a toddler bed, daybed, or full bed with headboard and optional footboard. You get long-term use without buying new furniture. Compare this to standard cribs that only serve infancy. The 5-in-1 design suits families planning to keep the piece through early childhood, offering better value than single-use nursery items.

Includes Storage: drawer

A full-size under-crib drawer with two separate organizer compartments helps keep the nursery tidy. Pre-installed tracks simplify assembly. This feature is ideal for small rooms where floor space is limited. Unlike loft beds that often lack storage, this crib integrates organization directly into the base, reducing the need for additional dressers or bins in your child's room.

Overall Dimensions: 54.96 x 29.65 x 42.3 in

These dimensions provide a standard footprint that fits most rooms. The width and depth allow for standard crib mattresses. The height allows for easy access when changing diapers. When shopping for bunk beds or loft beds, compare these measurements to ensure the furniture fits your available floor space without blocking pathways or other nursery essentials.

Mattress Height Positions: 4

Four adjustable mattress base options let you lower the mattress as your child grows. This feature enhances safety by reducing fall risks for toddlers. It extends the crib's usability. Compare this to cribs with fewer positions, which may become unsafe sooner. This adjustability ensures the bed remains secure and appropriate for your child's developmental stage over several years.

Design and build quality

According to the listing, the Graco Story crib is constructed from pine wood and composites. This material mix provides durable strength for everyday use in a nursery or growing bedroom. The finish is offered in Driftwood, Hazelnut, or Pebble Gray. These neutral tones allow the crib to match various interior styles easily.

The unit weighs 51.7 pounds and measures 55 inches wide by 29.7 inches deep by 42.2 inches high. This footprint fits standard rooms without dominating the space. The design includes a full-size under-crib drawer with two organizer compartments. Pre-installed drawer tracks simplify assembly and help keep the nursery tidy.

Safety certifications are central to the build. The crib is GREENGUARD Gold Certified, meaning it is low-emitting and screened for over 15,000 volatile organic compounds. It is also Baby Safety Alliance Verified, having been tested at an accredited lab to meet mandatory and voluntary safety standards. These tests are conducted annually to ensure ongoing compliance. The adjustable mattress base offers four height positions, allowing you to lower the mattress as your child grows. This structure supports the five convertible configurations, transitioning from a crib to a toddler bed, daybed, or full bed. The conversion kits are sold separately.
